| Familias en Accion - a collaborative community group that provides family events and programs to help increase Northfield Latino children’s success at school | Parent Communication Network (PCN) – a group that provides resources and education to support parents and help create a healthy, positive community for all youth |
Mayor's Task Force on Youth Alcohol & Drug Use – a city board to raise community awareness about local youth substance use and to make ecommendations for community interventions to reduce youth use The Northfield Mayor's Task Force on Youth Alcohol & Drug Use is working to provide additional education and resources to the community about the misuse of prescription drugs. Parent Education and Resource Liaisons (PEARLs) – a program to enhance networking among parents, the schools and the community and also to offer opportunities that allow for discussion among parents on issues relevant to children and schools |
| Mayor's Youth Council – high school juniors and seniors appointed by the mayor and city council to provide youth input into civic affairs | Rice County Chemical Health Coalition – a coalition that strives to reduce youth alcohol and drug use through prevention activities and intervention services throughout the county |
Mentoring Coalition - a coalition of local mentoring programs that works to increase the number of Northfield youth who have the opportunity to have a caring adult mentor

YouthPlus – a program to foster increased intergenerational interaction while working to encourage Northfield youth to organize/mobilize other peers for community service projects |
| Northfield Youth Sports Collaborative – a coalition that works to increase the involvement of low-income youth in local sports | Tackling Obstacles and Raising College Hopes (TORCH) – a collaborative effort to increase the graduation and postsecondary attendance rates of Northfield’s Latino students |
